We travelled to the heart of Vienna for the interior design project at the Am Stephansplatz boutique hotel, located in the city centre, just opposite the landmark St Stephen’s Cathedral.
The main idea was to create a contemporary design space that exudes a sense of wellbeing. The interior is decorated in wood and warm tones that provide a backdrop for the original sculptures and works of art. The comfortable rooms feature carefully thought-out touches in warm colours, soft lines and natural materials such as leather and wood, making for a delightfully welcoming setting.
The team of architects at Archiguards ZT GmbH behind the design of this delightful space, selected Apavisa’s Nanoconcept collection for the lobby and corridors.
This stone-effect material is an excellent choice due to its resistance and quality. The Nanoconcept collection is characterised for its superb technical features, including outstanding resistance to stains and scratches as well as easy maintenance, which makes it particularly suitable for high traffic areas. The chosen colours were anthracite and white in a natural and rigato finish in 45X90, 15X90 and 90X90 formats.
This architecture project carried out by Apavisa and Archiguards ZT GmbH has turned this hotel into a benchmark of style, history and avant-garde design, creating a harmonious and peaceful corner in the heart of the city.
